Attempt at Turkish Delight

Im finally waiting for graduation to take place.
Have been neglecting this place *brushes off cobwebs*

Shall post my attempt at turkish delight which turned out too sweet.

Turn on the heat add water


 Brought it to a certain temperature which I forgot.. (Google it! =X)

Added the other ingredients


 Laid it in a tray and let it set.

Looks more like jelly =( Never mind I will try this again some time in the future! =)

Re-union Dinner

I had my Reunion Dinner today, a tradition that Chinese Families practise is to have a reunion dinner on the eve of Chinese New Year! Shall share pictures of the dinner I had with my family.

Sushi Making Session with Casilda & Marianne

Prepare the Japanese Short Grain Rice.

Remember to Soak the rice at least 30minutes before cooking it in a rice cooker!
After that transfer to a bowl, add sushi mix(which you can buy in a packet from any major supermarket)
and let it cool.

Get a sheet of Seaweed, add the rice and add filling of your choice and ROLL.
 After Rolling, slice with sharp knife into pieces!


INARI, buy beancurd pockets(which you can find in Japanese section of the supermarket)
ADD RICE into it and TADAH.

 Pack your sushi into a cute box and call it a day!
